who we are

Isaiah 58:6-7
6 Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice and untie the
cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share
your food with the hungry and to provide the
poor wanderer with shelter, when you see
the naked to clothe him, and not turn away
from your own flesh and blood.

Matthew 25:37-40
37 Then the righteous will answer him, Lord
when did we see you hungry and feed you or
thirsty and give you something to drink? When
did we see you a stranger and invite you in or
needing clothes and clothe you? When did we
see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?
The King will reply: I tell you the truth, whatever
you did for one of the least of these brothers
of mine, you did it for me.

Hebrews 13:16
16 And do not forget to do good and to share
with others, for with such sacrifices God is
pleased.

James 2:14-17
14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims
to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith
save him? 15 Suppose a brother or sister is without
clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you
says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm
and well fed,” but does nothing about his
physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same
way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied
by action, is dead.
